In the year 1305, three kingdoms of North-Central Niveria were united under the leadership of King Valentine of Konnigsheim-Weimaria. The leaders of Värmal, Varangia, and Konnigsheim-Weimaria signed a significant historical document known as the Gründungsurkunde. This "charter" provides for the unification of the three nations, a central government ruled by a single house (the House von Husum) under a constitution, and the defense of the nation. Maristeranea was joined to the United Kingdom in 1365.

The United Kingdom of Cruiswieck was formed by the creation of 10 duchies: Kolvein, Baseia, Hallmund, Einar, Nerinsk, Hersfeld, Holstein, Brandenberg, Bamberg, Wendhausen. These are non-hereditary duchies except for the Duchy of Holstein which is always held by the monarch's eldest child (or in an heir's absence, by the monarch).

Today, the nation's provinces are represented in the Royal Privy Council by four Governors, one from each Province. Two or more duchies make up each province.

The primary port in Cruiswieck is Cruishaven.
