Abaco, formally The Republic of Abaco is a Teuvian Federative Republic in east central Niveria. In 1525, the former United Federation of Abaco descended into civil war, a condition that predominated until 1533. The war begun shortly after Riechstadt broke away from the UFA and the Abacan central government collapsed.

History

The history of Abaco was partly lost during the communist rule as they deemed it against the will of the people, but we have found bits and pieces and have tried to compile them here so you to learn more about our country and our people. Recent important events:

The United Federation was formed when citizens of Riechstadt agreed to join Abaco in a unified state. Abaco, always the weaker of the two, immediately attempted to take advantage of Riechstadt, which ultimately led to the failure of the union.

Earlier Abacan history is largely lost due to communist suppression. What is known, however, is the Abacans have endured turmoil and civil strife for generations.

Until recently, the Scandian United Nations were exploring ways to provide humanitarian relief and to support a tenuous peace between the rival so-called Interim Government and Abacan People's Liberation Movement (ALM) factions. The degree of destruction to the infrastructure, both physically and socially, required a concentrated effort and dedication by the international community.

On April 13, 1532, Riechstadt and Cruiswieck jointly undetook the Abacan Restoration, in which this coalition of Riechstadt, Cruiswiek took control of Abaco by military force and later divided the nation into three ocupation zones, the Riechstadtan Occupation Zone, the Cruiwiekan Occupation Zone and the Palmer City District under the Interim Government in Abaco.

After just over a year, Abaco was firmly under control and the coalition occupation zones were combined together with the Palmer City District to form the new Republic of Abaco.

Climate

Abaco has a temperate climate, with long hot humid summers and cold winters. The winters are short and usually snowy but sometimes rainy and sunny. The warmest mounth is july and the coldest in january. The temperatures could vary a little bit between north and south.
